How do I change my monthly contributions into my CTA 403(b)?

Let’s say you want to either increase or decrease your monthly contribution to your 403(b). 

You will need to complete a new Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA). 


The SRA tells your school district that you want to make a change to your contribution. 

Here is what you need to do to make a change to your contributions:


  • Talk to your payroll department to find out how to obtain an SRA.
    Some of them are still a paper form. However, many have gone electronic.
    If you district uses an electronic form, payroll should be able to give you the URL (address) of where to find the SRA. If they use a paper form, then they will probably be able to send you a PDF of the form.

  • Either way, you will need to complete the SRA form following the instructions.

  • Once you have completed the form (electronically) just submit the form and look for a confirmation.

  • If it is a paper form that you have completed, check the form on where to send it. Often you can turn it in to your employer. If not, there is usually a fax number to send the form. We advise not to email the form since that exposes your personal information.
